The fruits must be sorted out. It is better to use only whole and fresh apricots for jam. Next, we thoroughly rinse the selected apricots under running water. After that, the seeds should be removed - cut the apricots in half and remove them.

In the container in which the jam will be prepared, we shift the halves of the apricots and add granulated sugar to them.

We turn on the gas and put the container with the contents on the minimum fire. Wait for the apricot mass to boil. After that, set the timer for 15 minutes and continue to cook during this time. Then we turn off the gas.

Let the jam cool (at least an hour) and repeat the cooking procedure. We do this several times. Make sure that the apricot halves are not overcooked and remain intact.
