Uncooked apricots with sugar for the winter

Apricot jam, prepared without boiling, is distinguished by the integrity of the fruit, which makes the jam beautiful and aromatic. This jam will not only be a delicious dessert, but also complement your homemade cakes. The principle of preparation is simple: apricots are aged in sugar syrup with 2-fold boiling. Such a workpiece is stored only in a cold place.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 10
First, we measure in the ratio of apricots and sugar indicated in the recipe, based on the volume of your workpiece.
step 2 out of 10
Pour the calculated amount of sugar into a separate bowl and pour clean water.
step 3 out of 10
We put the dishes on medium heat and with continuous stirring so that the sugar is completely dissolved, bring the syrup to an active boil and boil it for 2-3 minutes.
step 4 out of 10
We wash the apricots with cold water, choosing dense and undamaged fruits. Then we divide them into halves and remove the bones.
step 5 out of 10
We transfer the prepared apricot halves to hot syrup and carefully, so as not to damage the fruits, mix with a spoon.
step 6 out of 10
We leave the apricots in the syrup for 6 hours so that they are saturated with sugar and give enough juice.
step 7 out of 10
After this time, take out the apricots with a special spoon from the syrup.
step 8 out of 10
We boil the syrup again, transfer the apricot halves to it and again leave them in the syrup for 6 hours.
step 9 out of 10
After this time, we take the apricots out of the syrup and transfer them to dry sterile jars. Boil the syrup again and fill it with apricots in jars.
step 10 out of 10
We immediately seal the jars hermetically with boiled lids, cool them under a warm blanket and put them in storage in a cold place. Apricot jam without cooking is ready.
Delicious and successful preparations!
