For those who love everything natural and with the maximum vitamin content and who do not have enough time to make jam, we offer the simplest and fastest recipe for preparing apricots for the winter. Since there is little acid in apricots, citrus fruits are added to them, which give a special aroma and increase the preservation of the dessert. So that this "live" dessert does not ferment and is perfectly preserved for several months, sugar is added in a proportion to apricots 1: 1 and even 2: 1. Store such a workpiece only in sterile jars in the refrigerator.

Rinse the apricots thoroughly and pat dry with a tea towel, as water will ferment. Then cut the apricots into halves and remove the pit.

Rinse citrus fruits with warm water and a brush. Dip them in boiling water for 1 minute so that all the bitterness is gone from the zest.

Cut them together with the peel into small pieces and remove the seeds.

Transfer the prepared apricot halves along with the lemon and orange slices to the bowl of a food processor or blender.

Grind these fruits until smooth and free of small pieces, state. It is advisable to do this a couple of times, stirring the mass with a spoon, so that the grinding is uniform.

Pour the prepared fruit puree into a dry deep bowl and add the calculated amount of sugar to it.

Then mix well with a wooden spoon, mashed potatoes with sugar so that it dissolves completely. The apricots pureed with sugar are ready. Pour this dessert into dry sterile jars, seal hermetically and immediately store in the refrigerator or other cold place.
