Apricots with pits in syrup for the winter

Making preparations with seeds is generally advised from small fruits. As you know, bones contain hydrocyanic acid, which over time begins to release harmful substances. Therefore, storing seams for a long time will not work.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Pitted fruits require special processing. First, they must be thoroughly rinsed and pierced in several places with a toothpick. Then pour boiling water over the apricots: pour clean water into a saucepan or electric kettle and bring to a boil. We leave for 5 minutes.
step 2 out of 7
Then drain the hot water and rinse the apricots with cool water. When the fruits are dry, put them in a saucepan. Pour the purified water into a separate container. Then we send sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. We stir it so that the sugar dissolves and does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
step 3 out of 7
Fill the apricots with hot syrup. We leave for 12 hours. If it is necessary to distribute the syrup over all the fruits, shake the pan, but in no case stir the fruits.
step 4 out of 7
After a while, put the pan with apricots on the stove and bring to a boil over medium heat. During the cooking process, foam will appear, which must be removed. Turn off the stove and leave the dessert for 12 hours. The procedure should be repeated 2 times.
step 5 out of 7
We will prepare the jars and lids for the treats in advance. We clean them with baking soda, then rinse them thoroughly so that no traces of powder remain on the walls of the cans and lids. We sterilize in any convenient and affordable way.
step 6 out of 7
Gently take the apricots out of the pan and put them in jars using a slotted spoon. Pour syrup into each container.
step 7 out of 7
We roll up the lids and turn over. We wrap the jars until they cool, and then transfer them to the pantry.
Bon Appetit!
