Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
We will select the necessary container. If the cans and lids are free from defects, we treat them with baking soda. We wash it off with running water and send it for sterilization. The lids will need to be scalded with boiling water before spinning.
step 2 out of 6
While the containers are being heat-treated, we will deal with apricots. We select only ripe, dense, without rot and spoiled areas, fruits. We wash them in cool water. So that there is no excess moisture in the dessert, wipe the apricots with a paper towel.
step 3 out of 6
To remove the seeds from the fruit, cut the apricots in half. After removing the seeds, cut each half of the fruit into slices.
step 4 out of 6
We spread the apricots on the bottom of the jars. Pour purified water into a saucepan and bring it to a boil. Pour the apricots in jars with boiling water and cover with lids. We leave the workpiece in this form for 10 minutes.
step 5 out of 6
Pour purified water into the pan again. Pour sugar and citric acid into it. Bring the syrup to a boil. Cook the mixture for about a minute. Now we drain the water from the jars into the sink and fill the apricots with hot syrup.
step 6 out of 6
We twist the jars with lids and turn them over. After cooling down under a warm blanket, we transfer the jars of dessert to a dry, cool place.
Bon Appetit!
