Apricots in pitted syrup without sterilization for the winter

For dessert, it is best to choose medium-sized apricots and pierce each fruit with a toothpick or pin to help the fruit absorb the syrup better.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
First, let's prepare the container for future seaming. Jars and lids must be intact, without cracks or chips. They should first be cleaned with baking soda and then rinsed. The next step is sterilization. We subject to heat treatment in any convenient way.
step 2 out of 6
Let's move on to processing apricots. They should be washed first and then allowed to dry. Then we take a toothpick, a pin or a regular fork and make small punctures over the entire surface of the fruit. We put apricots in jars.
step 3 out of 6
Now you need to bring purified water to a boil on the stove. Pour it into jars, which we cover with lids. Leave the apricots for 15 minutes.
step 4 out of 6
While the dessert is infusing, prepare the next portion of boiled water. After 15 minutes, pour the infusion into a free container, which we put on the stove. Pour the apricots with the second portion of boiling water.
step 5 out of 6
When the infusion boils, pour sugar into it and cook until it is completely dissolved. Stir the syrup constantly so that the sugar does not settle and stick to the bottom of the pan. Pour the water from the cans into the sink and pour the syrup in its place.
step 6 out of 6
We roll up the cans and turn them upside down. We wrap it in a blanket and wait for it to cool completely. Then we transfer the containers to a cool dry place and store for no more than a year.
Bon Appetit!
