Lavash achma with cheese and cottage cheese in a slow cooker

It is not easy to cook a real Georgian achma at home. In this recipe, you are invited to make it from pita bread and bake it in a slow cooker. The baked goods will not be dry and very tender. For the filling, let's take two types of cheese and some cottage cheese. You can use the same type of cheese, but it will taste different, so choose yourself.

Ingredients

Cooking process

For achma, take a standard package of Armenian lavash.
step 2 out of 13
Measure out the required amount of kefir of any fat content.
step 3 out of 13
Choose cheese according to your taste. Here you are invited to take mozzarella, suluguni and cottage cheese.
step 4 out of 13
Prepare salt, your favorite spices, salt and an egg.
step 5 out of 13
Grind the cheeses on a coarse grater and transfer to a bowl. Add cottage cheese, a little salt, spices to the cheese and stir.

step 8 out of 13
Lubricate the first sheet liberally with a raw kefir mixture.
step 9 out of 13
Then put the pieces of the second sheet in the bowl, also generously smearing them with the mixture.
step 10 out of 13
Wrap the free edges of the pita bread inward. Fill the ashma with the rest of the mixture. Set the Baking program on the multicooker for 30 minutes.
step 11 out of 13
Then turn the achma (it remained light on top), turn it over on the other side and continue to bake on the same program for another 20 minutes.
step 12 out of 13
Transfer the baked achma to a dish and cool slightly.
step 13 out of 13
Then cut it into portions and serve.

Bon Appetit!
