Adjika with carrots and apples

Adjika with carrots and apples is a kind of tomato sauce and is completely different from the original spicy Caucasian seasoning, but the combination of tomatoes with apples and carrots creates a new balanced taste. It can be served as a side dish or flavoring other dishes. This seasoning is becoming popular as it is less scalding and is liked by many for its sweet and sour taste.

step 1 out of 4
Peel carrots and apples. Wash the tomatoes. Remove stalks and seeds from peppers. Cut vegetables and apples into large pieces and weigh the required amount.

Then grind all the chopped ingredients with a meat grinder or food processor. Place the twisted vegetable and fruit mixture in a bowl (cauldron or a saucepan with a thick bottom) for stewing and put on a low heat. Simmer the adjika for 1 hour from the start of the boil. During this time, the vegetables will become soft.
step 3 out of 4
After an hour of stewing, pour the amount of sugar and salt indicated in the recipe into the adjika, add vegetable oil and vinegar and add chopped garlic. Stir Adjika and simmer for another 20 minutes.
step 4 out of 4
You can put the finished adjika in a jar and eat right away. For winter preparation, put adjika in clean jars and sterilize the workpiece according to general rules for 15 minutes. Then roll up the jars, turn them over onto the lids, cool under a "fur coat" and transfer to storage.

Happy and tasty preparations!
