Adjika with apples and onions

In this recipe, you are invited to add apples and onions to adjika. Combining them with garlic and spices will give adjika a special aroma and taste. Apples (choose hard and sour varieties) will make the adjika more tender and thick. We grind all products for this workpiece in a meat grinder. Cooking without sterilization.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 4
Peel vegetables and apples for adjika, wash and cut into medium pieces.
step 2 out of 4
In a meat grinder with a medium wire rack, twist the onions and carrots in one dish, apples and tomatoes in the other, and peeled garlic in the third. Heat vegetable oil in a cauldron or a heavy-bottomed saucepan and fry chopped carrots and onions in it.
step 3 out of 4
Then transfer the mixture of tomatoes and apples to the cauldron and add the amount of salt, sugar and red pepper indicated in the recipe. Stir the adjika and simmer over low heat for 45 minutes from the beginning of the boil, stirring occasionally so that it does not burn. Then add chopped garlic to adjika, pour vinegar, stir and simmer for another 15 minutes.
step 4 out of 4
Put the hot adjika in pre-sterilized jars. Roll up the jars with sterile lids. Then turn them upside down and cover with any "fur coat". Transfer cooled adjika with apples and onions to a cool place for storage.
