Adjika with apples, carrots and onions

I recommend using an unusual recipe for a delicious and aromatic adjika with apples, carrots and onions. Vitamin seasoning will replace any commercial ketchup and sauce. This adjika goes well with fish, meat and poultry.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Prepare all the necessary ingredients for the adjika. Rinse apples and carrots thoroughly. Peel and core the apples, wash the bell peppers and hot peppers and peel them. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly and place them in pre-prepared boiling water for literally 1 minute, then transfer them to cold water, carefully remove the skin, remove the stalk.
step 2 out of 7
Peel the garlic and onions, rinse under water. Chop apples, bell and hot peppers, garlic and onions until smooth using a food processor, blender or mince.
step 3 out of 7
Peel the carrots with a vegetable peeler, and then grate on a coarse grater. Put the tomatoes, grated carrots and the rest of the chopped ingredients in a metal bowl with a thick bottom, in which you will cook adjika. Add the required amount of granulated sugar, table salt and vegetable oil.
step 4 out of 7
Put the container with vegetables over medium heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook adjika for about 45-50 minutes, stirring occasionally. Wash the jars thoroughly and sterilize in a water bath, microwave or oven. Boil the lids in a saucepan or pour over boiling water.
step 5 out of 7
Pour the required amount of vinegar into adjika, mix thoroughly and immediately remove from heat. Spread hot adjika with apples, carrots and onions in sterile jars. Screw on with sterile caps. Turn hot jars of adjika upside down. Wrap in a warm blanket and leave to cool completely for about a day.
step 6 out of 7
Then put the fragrant adjika in a cool dark place for storage. All ingredients can be minced with a food processor or minced.
step 7 out of 7
The remaining adjika can be tasted after cooling completely.

Bon Appetit!
