To prepare the dough, mix eggs with sugar in a deep bowl until it is completely dissolved. For convenience, you can use a mixer or blender.

The butter must be removed from the refrigerator in advance so that it is very soft by the time the dough is kneaded. If this is not possible, then melt the butter in the microwave. Add to the sugar and egg mixture and mix well.

Heat the milk in a separate bowl. Crumble the pressed yeast, add to the milk, add a teaspoon of sugar there and stir until the dry ingredients are completely dissolved.

Let the diluted yeast stand for a couple of minutes, then pour it over the dough base and stir with a whisk or mixer.

Cover the resulting mixture with cling film or a towel and leave in a warm place for 8-12 hours.

After the specified time has passed, pour the dough into a large container, because the kneaded dough will increase in volume by 2-3 times. Add vanilla sugar, salt, sift flour and grate lemon zest. In the future, the juice of this lemon can be used to make icing sugar.
