Watermelon with vinegar in a jar for the winter

Watermelon is a completely unpretentious berry that can be easily and quickly turned into an interesting snack. Those who have never tasted huge salty fruits will be pleasantly surprised!

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Initially, pour salt and sugar into a saucepan, pouring vinegar upstairs, and set aside - let the crystals dissolve.
step 2 out of 5
Rinse the watermelon thoroughly under water and cut into small slices. It is better to get rid of the green peel - in winter it will be more convenient to use pickles.
step 3 out of 5
Grind all the greens, namely: pepper, horseradish root, dill and parsley, leave the garlic in the cloves, do not chop. Put some of the chopped greens into an empty container. Then slices of watermelon, greens again, and so on. Fill the container with layers to the very top.
step 4 out of 5
By this time, the salt and sugar had already dissolved in the vinegar. Add cooled boiled water to the mixture and mix thoroughly. Pour layers of greens and watermelon with the resulting marinade so that the entire contents are covered with liquid. Cover the salting and put it in a dark place for a day or two, stirring occasionally.
step 5 out of 5
After the specified time has elapsed, we lay out our salting in sterilized jars, adding black peppercorns to your taste, and fill with brine. We roll up the prepared cans and put them in the cellar or basement to get salted. Bon Appetit!
