Birch juice with lemon and orange for the winter

In some ways, this juice will resemble lemonade: it contains both citrus sourness and a fragrant orange note. You can roll up birch sap in this way pretty quickly. All you need to do is bring it to a boil, add chopped citrus fruits and place it all in sterilized jars.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
Put strained birch sap in a saucepan, add granulated sugar to it, mix. We put on the stove and bring the juice to a boil.
step 2 out of 6
While the juice is heating up, the lemons and oranges are thoroughly washed. We cut them into circles of the same thickness, and then scald them with boiling water.
step 3 out of 6
Wash cans, sterilize in any convenient way and dry well. We do the same with the lids.
step 4 out of 6
Put orange and lemon mugs at the bottom of each jar. Usually, one lemon and two orange circles are calculated for one can.
step 5 out of 6
Pour boiling birch sap over the citrus jars. We close with sterilized dry lids using a special key. We turn the cans upside down to check the tightness, and in this position we leave to cool.
step 6 out of 6
After cooling, remove the juice in a cool dark place for storage. We store birch sap with citrus for no more than a year.
Bon Appetit!
