Birch sap with rose hips

Birch sap with rose hips is not only tasty, but healthy and beautiful. The drink is enriched with vitamins and takes on a beautiful reddish color. The preparation of such preservation will last for a day, since the rosehip needs to be infused well before rolling. But the result is worth it and you should like it.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Wash the rosehip thoroughly in warm water, remove any debris. Strain three to four liters of birch sap into a saucepan and dip the washed rose hips into it. Place the pot on the stove and bring the contents to a boil. Cook over low heat for five minutes and remove from the stove. We close the pan with a lid, wrap it with a warm blanket and leave it for ten to fifteen hours.
step 2 out of 5
After the specified time, we filter the rosehip infusion through a gauze folded in several layers.
step 3 out of 5
My cans, we sterilize in any way you are used to. We do the same with the lids. We pour the rosehip infusion into the banks, trying to divide its volume in equal parts throughout the entire container. Pour granulated sugar and citric acid into jars.
step 4 out of 5
Strain the remaining birch sap through cheesecloth into a saucepan and place on the stove. We heat the juice to a very hot state, but do not boil it. Add hot birch sap to the jars to the rosehip infusion through clean gauze, complementing the container to the top.
step 5 out of 5
We twist the filled jars with sterilized dry lids using a special key. Turn the container upside down and leave the juice to cool in this position. We store the already cooled cans of juice for storage in a cool, dark place.
Bon Appetit!
