Yeast-free black currant pie

Homemade blackcurrant-free dough pie can compete with the intricate store-bought desserts. The dough is kneaded with beaten eggs, flour, baking powder, sugar, and the cake looks like a charlotte. Black currants can be used both fresh and frozen, only they must be mixed with flour or starch so that the frozen berries are evenly distributed in the dough.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
First, prepare all the ingredients for the pie so that everything is at hand.
step 2 out of 8
Break five chicken eggs into a bowl for kneading and add a glass of sugar to them. With a mixer and for 3 minutes, at least, beat the eggs with sugar until a strong foam, because the duration of the whipping determines the splendor of the baking.
step 3 out of 8
Then add flour, baking powder, sifted on a sieve to the beaten eggs and knead the dough until smooth.
step 4 out of 8
Put currant berries in the dough. Do not defrost frozen currants, but only mix with flour or starch.
step 5 out of 8
Then mix the currants with the dough so that the berries are evenly distributed.
step 6 out of 8
Cover any baking dish with a piece of special paper and grease it with vegetable oil. Pour the kneaded dough into a mold and smooth the surface with a spoon.
step 7 out of 8
Bake the pie in an oven preheated to 200 ° C for 35-40 minutes. Do not open the oven door for the first 20 minutes, otherwise the cake may settle.
step 8 out of 8
After this time, the yeast-free blackcurrant pie is ready. Cool it a little, gently remove it from the mold and serve.
Delicious and successful baking!
