Sponge cake with chocolate

The biscuit can be prepared in various ways. To prepare the classic biscuit recipe, use chicken eggs, premium wheat flour and granulated sugar. I suggest experimenting a bit and making a chocolate sponge cake. The delicate structure of the pie goes well with chocolate.

Take a deep bowl, add softened butter, add vanilla sugar and granulated sugar and grind with a whisk or spatula until smooth.
step 5 out of 13
Divide chicken eggs into whites and yolks. Place the whites immediately in a deep bowl.
step 6 out of 13
Break the bitter chocolate with your hands, put in a bowl and melt in a water bath, cool slightly. Put the melted chocolate to the butter mass and mix thoroughly.
step 7 out of 13
In the resulting chocolate mass, add the yolks one by one, stirring well after each.

Beat the egg whites with a mixer at low speed, gradually increasing the speed, until the state of strong peaks.

Gradually add the sifted flour with baking powder to the chocolate mass. Mix thoroughly.

In several steps, add the whipped egg whites into the dough, gently stirring from bottom to top in one direction.
step 11 out of 13
Prepare a baking dish, brush the sides and bottom with a little butter, carefully lay out the dough and spread evenly over the entire surface, lightly leveling with a silicone spatula.
step 12 out of 13
Place the baking dish in a preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees. Check the doneness with a wooden skewer.
step 13 out of 13
Remove the finished biscuit from the oven, let it cool slightly, carefully remove it from the mold and leave it on the wire rack until it cools completely for about 40 minutes. Before serving, the chilled biscuit can be garnished with fresh berries or fruits.

Enjoy!
