Pancakes thin on the water

Pancakes can be successfully cooked not only in milk, kefir, cream, but also simply in water. If, for example, for some reason you need to remove dairy products from the diet, this is not a reason to refuse pancakes in the daily menu. In addition, such pancakes can be prepared for filling with various fillings - they are thin and less high in calories.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
It is recommended to sift the flour before kneading the dough to enrich it with oxygen. It is better to use water at room temperature.
step 2 out of 6
Break the egg into a bowl, add salt, sugar and beat everything together with a fork until smooth. Pour in water and mix.
step 3 out of 6
Add flour to the liquid mixture and knead a homogeneous dough without lumps. It is convenient to use a whisk or mixer. At the end of cooking, add vegetable oil and mix again. Let the dough "rest" at room temperature for thirty minutes.
step 4 out of 6
Before frying the first pancake, grease the pan with vegetable oil using a silicone brush. Preheat the pan to a hot state and pour a portion of dough, measured out with a ladle, onto it. Fry the pancake for a couple of minutes at medium-low temperature until golden brown.
step 5 out of 6
Turn the pancake over with a flat spatula and continue to fry for one or two minutes.
step 6 out of 6
We put the finished pancakes on a flat plate, smearing each with a small amount of butter. It is recommended to serve hot with any additions to taste.

Bon Appetit!
