Lingonberry sauce for meat with wine

Lingonberry sauce is a great addition to any type of meat, be it pork, beef or lamb. It is easy to prepare, as frozen berries can be bought all year round. Lingonberry sauce can be prepared with various ingredients, and then your meat dishes will sparkle with new colors.

We wash fresh berries through a colander. Defrost frozen berries at room temperature.

Pour water into a saucepan, add lingonberries and cook until boiling. Then remove from heat and let stand for 5 - 10 minutes, covering with a lid.

Pour the lingonberry broth into a separate bowl, and wipe the berries themselves with a sieve into a saucepan.

Dilute the resulting puree with a small amount of broth, add sugar, cinnamon and wine. We mix everything.

We try to taste. If the taste is too sour, you can add a little sugar.

Stir the sauce without stopping until it boils. We boil for 5 minutes.

Pour starch into a glass, pour 50 ml of water and stir until smooth.
