Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Rinse and dry the berry first. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. If you are using a cinnamon stick, it is better to grind it.
step 2 out of 5
Put the saucepan on the fire, bring the mixture to a boil and turn it off when a third of the wine has boiled away - this will get rid of the alcohol.
step 3 out of 5
Rub the mixture through a sieve so that no large particles of berries and spices get into the sauce.
step 4 out of 5
Instead of a sieve, you can use a blender to chop some of the berries. In this case, some of the berries can be left intact, this will give the sauce a special feature, and it will not be so liquid.
step 5 out of 5
Try the resulting sauce. Add honey to taste to make it sweeter. The sauce is ready! Pour into containers, refrigerate and refrigerate.
