Quick pickling of tomatoes in a bag

Home-cooked quick salted tomatoes will be an excellent cold appetizer or a side dish for meat and fish dishes. Hot peppers and garlic give tomatoes a pleasant spicy flavor, and dill gives the aroma of fresh herbs. Cooking tomatoes takes no more than half an hour, while tomatoes should be pickled for several days, resulting in a delicious appetizer of fresh tomatoes with herbs.

We wash the tomatoes in running water and put them on a kitchen towel so that they dry out a little. Then we make a cruciform incision in the tomatoes on the back of the stalk.

We wash the dill under cool running water, put it on a kitchen towel so that it dries a little from the water. Then chop it finely with a knife. We wash hot peppers, remove seeds and cut into thin rings.

Put tomatoes, chopped dill, chopped peppers and finely chopped garlic in a clean plastic bag. Add salt and sugar, release air from the bag, tie the edges and shake the bag for 2-3 minutes so that the spices are evenly distributed over the tomatoes.
