Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 11
Add salt and vegetable oil to the water. Boil the mixture.
step 2 out of 11
When the water boils, add 2 tablespoons of sifted flour to a bowl. This will brew the flour and make the choux pastry.
step 3 out of 11
Stir the flour quickly with a whisk, trying to avoid lumps. Then let cool down.
step 4 out of 11
Add one egg to the cooled brewed flour, mix.
step 5 out of 11
Then add the remaining flour in portions and knead the dough. As a result, the dough should be soft and not sticky. Wrap it in plastic wrap and let it brew for at least an hour at room temperature.
step 6 out of 11
Pass the meat and onions through a meat grinder. Add salt, black pepper to taste to the minced meat and pour in kefir, mix until smooth.
step 7 out of 11
Divide the dough into several equal parts and roll them into a cake 2-3 millimeters thick.
step 8 out of 11
Put the filling on one half of the rolled flat cake, stepping back 1-1.5 centimeters from the edge.
step 9 out of 11
Cover the filling with the other half of the dough and pin the edges together. Do this with all the dough and filling.
step 10 out of 11
Pour vegetable oil into the pan to a height of 2-3 centimeters. Fry the pasties on both sides.
step 11 out of 11
Blot the pasties on paper towels from excess fat, then serve warm.
