Black currants without cooking in the refrigerator for the winter

The berries are thoroughly washed and chopped in a blender. Sugar is added to them and everything is mixed. Next, the resulting mass is poured into jars and placed in the refrigerator. Ready-made jam is perfect for preparing many dishes.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
To begin with, we sort out the black currant berries well, removing twigs and other debris. Then we rinse them under cold water and leave them in a colander until all the water is drained. Otherwise, the finished jam will be too runny and can quickly deteriorate.
step 2 out of 5
We send a kilogram of black currants to the bowl of a blender or combine and grind until puree.
step 3 out of 5
Pour a kilogram of granulated sugar and mix everything thoroughly with a wooden spatula so that it completely dissolves.
step 4 out of 5
We sterilize the jars in advance and lay out the berries grated with sugar on them. Close with lids and put in the refrigerator until completely cooled. It is best not to use metal covers here.
step 5 out of 5
We use chilled jam as an additive to tea, fillings for pies, or simply spread on white bread. Bon Appetit!
