Pounded fruit with sugar is a very healthy dessert that anyone can make. Such a blank can be stored for a long time and used in winter in the preparation of homemade desserts, compotes, simply mixed with ice cream or drunk with tea.

If the currants with sugar will be stored in the refrigerator, then the proportions can be taken 1 to 1. For a higher storage temperature, more sugar will be needed.

Leave the puree at room temperature for several hours and stir every half hour to completely dissolve the sugar in the berry juice. Gradually, the puree will thicken and acquire a jelly-like consistency.
