It is faster and easier to prepare blueberry compote for the winter without sterilization in order to maximize all the beneficial properties of this berry. For reliable storage of this blank, the compote is made more concentrated and more than one third of the can is added to the berries. For a large family, compote is harvested in 3-liter jars. We prepare compote by the method of double filling.

Re-pour the blueberries in the jar with boiling syrup and immediately seal the jar tightly, checking the reliability of the seaming. Then put the jar on the lid, cover with a warm blanket and leave overnight for additional pasteurization and complete cooling. Blueberry compote is ready without sterilization. Store it in a dark and cool place.
