Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
The first step is to prepare the blueberries for this blank. The easiest way to make blueberries clean is to pour cold water into a large bowl and remove any loose debris, then rinse the berries and discard them in a colander to remove excess liquid.
step 2 out of 5
Rinse a 3-liter jar with baking soda in advance and sterilize it using any method. Pour the prepared blueberries into the jar.
step 3 out of 5
Boil the required amount of clean drinking water in a separate bowl. Then gently pour boiling water over the blueberries in a jar, cover with a boiled lid and leave for 15 minutes to infuse.
step 4 out of 5
After this time, through a special lid, drain the water from the can into the same saucepan. Pour the amount of sugar indicated in the recipe to the water, stir it until it is completely dissolved and boil the syrup. Boil the syrup for 3-5 minutes.
step 5 out of 5
Re-pour the blueberries in the jar with boiling syrup and immediately seal the jar tightly, checking the reliability of the seaming. Then put the jar on the lid, cover with a warm blanket and leave overnight for additional pasteurization and complete cooling. Blueberry compote is ready without sterilization. Store it in a dark and cool place.
Happy and tasty preparations!
