Before you start cooking, prepare all the food you need. We only need two ingredients. Be sure to weigh the sugar and blueberries before you start cooking. This way you are using exactly as many ingredients as indicated in the recipe.

Pay due attention to your sugar choices. It is very important to look not only at the price and packaging of the product, but also at its quality. If your sugar has lumps that are difficult to crush, do not use it in cooking.

We start preparing the berries. Sort the blueberries carefully before rinsing them. Remove any spoiled berries, as well as possible debris or various animals. Transfer the blueberries to a deep bowl and rinse them in warm water several times. After that, put the berries on a towel. It will absorb all excess moisture.

We transfer the berries to a blender. If this kitchen appliance is not available in your kitchen, you can use a food processor. Grind blueberries for a minute. Fill the kettle with water and move it to the stove. When the water starts to boil, transfer the jar to the spout of the kettle so that it fills with steam.
