We start preparing the berries. Sort the blueberries carefully before rinsing them. Remove any spoiled berries, as well as possible debris or various animals. Transfer the blueberries to a deep bowl and rinse them in warm water several times. After that, put the berries on a towel. It will absorb all excess moisture.
We transfer the berries to a blender. If this kitchen appliance is not available in your kitchen, you can use a food processor. Grind blueberries for a minute. As a result, you should have a berry puree. If you do not immediately succeed in achieving this consistency, chop the berries again until smooth.
Add sugar to the berries gradually, in small portions. Grind the future jam after each addition. Make sure that the sugar is completely dissolved in the berry puree. If it doesn't, grind it again. As a result, the sugar should still be completely dissolved. If you did everything correctly, the resulting berry mass will become like jelly before your eyes. Transfer the puree to a bowl.
We are preparing the jars into which you will transfer the blueberry puree. They need to be sterilized. We wash cans well. After that, scald them with boiling water several times. Fill the kettle with water and move it to the stove. When the water starts to boil, transfer the jar to the spout of the kettle so that it fills with steam. Hold the jar in this position for a few minutes. Then place it on a towel. It will dry instantly.
Transfer the blueberry-sugar mixture to a dry jar. You can close it with any plastic cover. It is not worth packing the jar somehow. It is necessary to store such jam in the refrigerator.
