Due to the large amount of sugar, such blueberries are very similar to jam both in sweetness and in consistency. However, it cooks much faster, but at the same time it is not stored so long and only in the refrigerator. If you want to enjoy such a delicacy throughout the winter, then it is better to freeze it.

Sort out the berries, getting rid of visible small debris and spoiled and unripe berries. Pour the selected blueberries into a bowl and cover with plenty of water. Gently mix the berries with your hands several times, collect the debris that has come up from the surface and drain the water. You can then rinse the blueberries in a colander.
