Blueberries in their own juice with sugar without cooking for the winter

Using this method, canned blueberries will eventually resemble berry puree, very sweet, but not as sugary as jam. Such a berry retains its natural taste, acidity and vitamins.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Sort the blueberries carefully. It is important to select not only small debris, such as leaves or twigs, but also spoiled and crushed berries, because they can subsequently give an unpleasant taste and ruin the whole seaming. Rinse the remaining blueberries under running water and leave in a colander to completely drain all the liquid.
step 2 out of 5
When the blueberries have settled in a colander, place them on a towel and let dry.
step 3 out of 5
Measure sugar in the following approximate ratio: one glass of sugar per 100 grams of blueberries. If this amount of sugar seems too much for you, you can vary it depending on your preference. However, keep in mind that for this recipe, blueberries should not be more than sugar.
step 4 out of 5
Using a food processor, chop the berries to a puree state, adding sugar in the process. In the end, you should have a mass that resembles a jelly in consistency.
step 5 out of 5
Pour the resulting mass into pre-pasteurized jars. Optionally, you can put a mint leaf in them for a more interesting taste. Close the jars tightly and store in the refrigerator.
Bon Appetit!
