Light and delicate texture, slightly salty taste is the main difference between New York cheesecake and many others. And this is achieved thanks to Philadelphia cheese, which is an absolutely irreplaceable ingredient in this dish, and salty crackers, which are taken as the basis of this dessert.

We send the necessary amount of crackers to a blender and grind to a state of flour.

We send the chopped cracker into a deep bowl and add melted butter to it. Mix everything well.

We take a mold, preferably with removable edges, pour our dough into it and tamp it thoroughly. After that, we send the resulting cake to the oven for a few minutes so that it brown a little.

In a deep bowl, knead the cheese, combining it with powdered sugar and vanilla.

Into the resulting mass we introduce eggs, lemon zest, juice and cream. Mix everything thoroughly.

The mold with the cheesecake should be placed in a container with a large diameter, pour hot water between them so that its level reaches about the middle of the mold. We send everything to bake in the oven for an hour at a temperature of 160 degrees. Then we cool our dessert, let it stand for an hour in the refrigerator. Decorate according to your imagination before serving.
