Chicken tobacco in the oven with a crust

Georgian cuisine has presented us with a huge number of bright and delicious dishes. For example, such an iconic dish as tobacco chicken. According to one of the recipes, the dish is baked in the oven with aromatic oriental spices until golden brown.

Rinse the chicken well and pat dry with paper towels. Cut it in the middle of the breast.

Cover the chicken with cling film and beat with a hammer on one side, then turn over and do the same on the other side.

For the marinade, combine mustard, chopped garlic, herb mix, sunflower oil, salt and black pepper.

Brush chicken on all sides with marinade and refrigerate for several hours.

Grease a baking sheet with high sides with sunflower oil, put the chicken on it. Cover the mold with foil.

Bake the chicken under the foil in the oven at 180-190 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Then remove the foil and cook the bird for another 15-20 minutes, during which time an appetizing golden brown crust forms on it. Serve the chicken tabaca with the sauce of your choice and fresh vegetables.
