Baby applesauce for the winter

Making applesauce for kids is a snap. The main thing is to choose high-quality, tasty apples and take a responsible approach to the process of sterilization and seaming. Harvesting will please not only a child in winter - adults will also gladly eat such mashed potatoes, for example, with pancakes or cheese cakes.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We choose ripe apples, sweet - mashed potatoes from these will turn out to be tasty and high-quality. We wash the fruits, cut off the peel from them and remove the seed capsule.
step 2 out of 5
Cut the apple pulp into cubes.
step 3 out of 5
Pour water into a saucepan with a thick bottom, lay the apple pieces, put on the stove, and close the lid. Heat to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for about fifteen to twenty minutes. Stir occasionally.
step 4 out of 5
Punch the stewed apples with an immersion blender until smooth. We wash and sterilize the jars and lids, let them dry. We lay out the hot mashed potatoes in the jars. We put the cans in a wide saucepan with a towel laid on the bottom, cover with lids. We pour in water in such an amount that its level reaches the "shoulders". We put a pot with jars on the stove, bring the water to a boil and sterilize for fifteen minutes.
step 5 out of 5
We take out the jars after sterilization, tighten the lids, turn them upside down to check the tightness. Let cool and store in a cool dry place.
Bon Appetit!
