Everyone knows that there are many preservatives in store sauces that have a negative effect on human health. The great thing is that for them there is an alternative - you will lick your fingers at home ketchup for the winter. Such a replacement will not only have a beneficial effect on the health of the family, but everyone will definitely like it.

Wash and dry the tomatoes. Wash the pepper, remove the seeds. Wash the apples, remove the core. Peel the onion and garlic. Pass the ingredients for ketchup prepared in this way through a meat grinder.

Pour the resulting mixture into a bowl or saucepan.

All spices: cinnamon, cloves, bay leaves, allspice and peas - wrap in cheesecloth (so that later it would be easier to remove them from the finished ketchup) and send to the mass.

Put a saucepan with the mixture over high heat, bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat, simmer the mass for about 2 hours.

Remove the gauze bag with spices from the pan. add sugar and salt to the ketchup, stir until they are completely dissolved.

Pour vinegar into the ketchup.

With a blender, beat the mass in mashed potatoes until the consistency of ketchup. Then bring the mass to a boil again.
