I want to share a recipe for a simple homemade kvass. To prepare the drink, you will need affordable and inexpensive ingredients. The drink is prepared quickly and easily. Home-made kvass will be ready in 30 minutes, but it is best to chill it in the refrigerator before use.

Gently pour the hot syrup into a jar of yeast solution and mix thoroughly with a wooden spatula so as not to accidentally break the jar. Cover the jar with cheesecloth or close the lid and leave for 30 minutes at room temperature. If you want the kvass to gain more sharpness, you can leave the kvass at room temperature for longer.
