Homemade hodgepodge with sausage

Solyanka is a hot first dish based on a rich broth. The broth can be meat, fish or mushroom. I recommend making a homemade sausage hodgepodge. The dish turns out to be fragrant with a pleasant sourness. Prepare the solyanka broth in advance if possible.

Rinse the meat thoroughly, put in a saucepan, cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, remove the resulting foam. Close the lid, reduce heat, cook the meat until cooked through, about 40 minutes.

Peel the onion and cut into thin half rings or in any other way.

Peel the sausage and ham and cut into small cubes. Cut pickled cucumbers in the same way as for meat products.

Heat the pan well, add a little vegetable oil, put onion and fry until softened.

Add chopped meats, sauté, add pickles and simmer for a few minutes.

Top with tomato paste, add a little water, stir, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
