If you want to bake a yeast cake with fruits, you can use them not only fresh, but also frozen. First, you need to let the raw material thaw so that excess moisture is gone. In this case, we are preparing a pie with apricots - the pastries are very juicy, sour, with a delicate crumb and golden brown crust.

To prepare the dough, we activate the yeast. To do this, heat the milk until warm. Pour yeast and sugar into it, mix.

We leave the mass in a warm place for fifteen to twenty minutes, until foam appears on the surface.

Add salt, melted butter, vegetable oil, one beaten egg, vanilla sugar to the yeast mass, mix.

Sift the flour into the resulting mixture, knead the soft dough. The mass turns out to be smooth, shaped, does not stick to the hands.

Place the kneaded dough in a bowl, cover with a towel and place in a warm place to rise.

After about an hour, the dough should rise and increase by two to two and a half times.

Grease the baking dish with vegetable oil. If the mold is silicone, then you don't need to lubricate it. Divide the dough into two parts. We roll one of them into a layer and put it in a prepared form.

We process apricots: let them defrost, remove seeds, if any. On top of the dough, lay out the apricots, skin side up. If the fruits are sour, then you can sprinkle with sugar to taste.

Roll the second part of the dough into a thin long layer. Cut into three thin strips. We weave a pigtail out of them and spread it around the edge of the pie. Cut out decorative figures from the dough remnants and lay them on apricots. Shake the egg and grease the surface of the dough with it.
