Fruit and berry jams are used in various desserts, homemade baked goods, and simply consumed with hot drinks. I want to propose a recipe for apricot jam through a meat grinder. Jam is prepared simply and easily, it turns out to be very delicate in taste with a pleasant sourness.

Prepare the ingredients for a delicious apricot jam.

Rinse the apricots well in cool water. Let dry. Remove the bones carefully. Pass the pitted apricots through a meat grinder.

Put the minced apricots in a saucepan with a thick bottom. Pour in citric acid, mix well. Put the saucepan on low heat, bring to a boil and cook for about an hour, periodically removing the formed foam. Add granulated sugar, mix thoroughly and cook for another 15 minutes.

Sterilize the jars in which you will store the jam in advance. You can sterilize jars in a microwave oven, in an oven or in a water bath, pour boiling water over the lids. Spread hot jam on clean sterilized jars, close with clean dry lids.
