Jam from apricots with orange

Apricots and oranges are the perfect combination for a delicious, rich jam. Thick, bright, with a pleasant citrus aroma, it will energize and warm in winter with a cup of tea. It's easy to cook, the main thing is to carefully prepare everything and monitor the timer.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 9
We wash the apricots well, cut them into halves and remove the pits from them.
step 2 out of 9
Now you can cut the apricots into smaller pieces so they cook faster.
step 3 out of 9
My oranges are also thoroughly washed, since we need the peel for jam. Cut off the peel so as not to touch the white film, otherwise the jam may taste bitter. Rub it on a coarse grater.
step 4 out of 9
Then remove the white layer from the orange and cut it into small pieces.
step 5 out of 9
Squeeze juice from lemon.
step 6 out of 9
Now we transfer all the ingredients to a saucepan, add sugar and add lemon juice.
step 7 out of 9
Cook the jam for 15-20 minutes, after it boils. A foam will periodically form on the top, it must be removed with a spoon.
step 8 out of 9
Grind the jam with a blender until smooth and once again send it to the stove for 10 minutes.
step 9 out of 9
We lay out the jam in jars (it is imperative to prepare and sterilize them in advance) and roll up. Turn it upside down. Leave to cool, and then put in a cold place.

Bon Appetit!
