White cherry jam

Jam can be made from a variety of berries and fruits. Smooth, uniform consistency and rich taste go well with any dough, if you use jam as a filling or a layer of homemade baked goods. I recommend making white cherry jam.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
Prepare all the ingredients you need to make white cherry jam. Measure out the required amount of granulated sugar.
step 2 out of 8
Sort out the white cherries, put in a sieve or colander, rinse thoroughly and let the excess liquid drain. Use a special tool or a pin to remove the bones.
step 3 out of 8
Put the pitted white cherries in a blender bowl. Grind until smooth.
step 4 out of 8
Put the prepared berry mass in a metal dish with a thick bottom. Fill the berries with the required amount of granulated sugar. Stir thoroughly until the granulated sugar crystals are completely dissolved.
step 5 out of 8
Then put the container with the berry mass over medium heat, bring to a boil, stirring occasionally and removing the resulting foam, and then reduce the heat.
step 6 out of 8
In the meantime, prepare the jars, wash thoroughly and sterilize in the microwave or oven. Pour boiling water over the lids. Jars and lids must be completely dry.
step 7 out of 8
Simmer the white cherry jam over low heat for about 2-2.5 hours. If the initial amount of cherries is higher, increase the cooking time accordingly.
step 8 out of 8
Using a ladle, gently pour the hot jam into sterile jars. Tighten jars of white cherry jam with sterile lids, then turn upside down. Leave as it is until it cools completely. When completely cool, turn the jars over and transfer them to a cool, dark place for storage. You can try ready-made white cherry jam.

Enjoy!
