From dark cherries, according to the proposed recipe, you can make a wonderful jam. It is prepared on the basis of orange juice.

Scald oranges with boiling water and wash well with a brush. Then pat dry with a paper towel. Gently remove the zest from the fruit and squeeze the juice out of the pulp.

Pour the orange juice into a saucepan for making jam, add the zest and the right amount of sugar to it and cook the syrup. Simmer the syrup over low heat for a few minutes.

Rinse the cherries well with cold water and remove the seeds in any way.

Transfer the prepared cherries to orange syrup and cook the jam over low heat until thick. You can increase the cooking time. In addition to the end of cooking, if you wish, you can grind the cherries with a blender or simply heat them so that some of the berries remain in pieces.
