Sweet cherry jam in a slow cooker

Sweet cherry is a tasty and healthy seasonal berry that has an amazing taste, both fresh and in the form of seams. The composition of sweet cherries includes natural pectin, so the workpieces with it are a little thicker than from cherries. Today we will make sweet cherry jam with the addition of pectin to make the jam even thicker. We will cook jam with the help of our kitchen assistant - a multicooker, thanks to the uniform heating of the bowl from all sides, it will make the cooking process easier and faster.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
Put the cherries in a colander, rinse well under a stream of warm running water and leave for 10-15 minutes to drain the water. Then we remove the stalks from the berries and use a special machine to extract the seeds.
step 2 out of 6
On the multicooker bowl, we install a container for cooking food for steam, place pre-washed jam jars with the neck down on it and sterilize over steam for 7-10 minutes. Then we remove the cans and leave to cool.
step 3 out of 6
Put the berries in a multicooker bowl and sprinkle the cherries with pectin evenly.
step 4 out of 6
Add 50 ml to the bowl. water, mix and set the "Soup" mode on the multicooker, turn on the "Start" button and bring the mass to a boil.
step 5 out of 6
After the jam has boiled, remove the resulting foam with a spoon and add sugar, mix everything well and boil the jam for about 5 minutes. Do not forget to constantly stir the berries so that the sweet mass does not burn to the bottom of the bowl. When ready, turn off the multicooker.
step 6 out of 6
Pour the finished hot jam into sterilized jars, close the lids tightly, turn the jars upside down and leave to cool completely at room temperature. Cherry jam after cooling has acquired a thick consistency and is completely ready for use. Bon Appetit!
