Dogwood jam in a slow cooker

I want to share a recipe for dogwood jam cooked in a slow cooker. The cooking process is simple. I recommend using ripe dogwood berries. The pulp of ripe berries is well separated from the seeds. The cooled jam has an incredible flavor and aroma, as well as a thick texture.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 11
Prepare all the ingredients you need to make the dogwood jam in a slow cooker. Sort the dogwood, put it in a sieve, rinse thoroughly and let the excess liquid drain. Remove the seeds from the dogwood berries. It is convenient to do this with the bottom of the glass, pressing the berry with it.
step 2 out of 11
Put the peeled berries in a multicooker bowl. Fill in the required amount of granulated sugar and leave overnight. During this time, the berries will start up a sufficient amount of juice and soak in syrup.
step 3 out of 11
Place the multicooker bowl into the appliance. Close the instrument cover. Set the “Multipovar” mode on the panel, temperature - 120 degrees, time - 1 hour 30 minutes. Open the lid after half an hour.
step 4 out of 11
Remove the foam, then close the lid and cook until the end of the program.
step 5 out of 11
After the beep, open the lid and leave for 3-5 minutes.
step 6 out of 11
In the meantime, prepare the jars, wash them thoroughly and sterilize them in the microwave or oven. Pour boiling water over the lids. Jars and lids must be completely dry. Using a plastic scoop, carefully pour the hot jam into sterile jars.
step 7 out of 11
Thus, fill in all the jars.
step 8 out of 11
Cover the dogwood jam jars with sterile lids.
step 9 out of 11
Roll up with a seamer.
step 10 out of 11
Turn the cans upside down and wrap them in a warm blanket.
step 11 out of 11
Leave the dogwood jam until it cools completely, and then move the cans of treats to a cool, dark place for storage.

Enjoy!
