Strawberry jam in a Redmond slow cooker

A thick and fragrant strawberry jam as a homemade option and a delicious delicacy is best obtained in the Redmond multicooker, which has the "Heating" and "Pastry" programs. The method of chopping berries (wooden pestle, blender, sieve or meat grinder) is chosen according to your preference. Jam is prepared on this program with the lid open, as a result of which the liquid evaporates well and the jam turns out to be thick, and it does not burn in a slow cooker.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Weigh out the amount of strawberries indicated in the recipe and measure out 1 kg of sugar. In large quantities (up to a maximum of 1.5 kg), strawberries are not cooked in a multicooker. Rinse the berries with cold water, remove the sepals and dry the strawberries with a kitchen towel.
step 2 out of 5
Transfer the prepared berries to a multi-bowl and chop them with a wooden pestle or in another way. Pour the calculated amount of sugar on the strawberries, stir with a spatula and turn on the "Warm up" program for 20 minutes. During this time, the strawberries will give their juice.
step 3 out of 5
Then, at the end of this program, turn on the “Bake” mode for the default time. At Redmond it is 1 hour. Leave the lid of the multicooker open.
step 4 out of 5
Stir the jam several times with a spatula during cooking so that it boils evenly. By the end of cooking, the jam will be dark and thick enough. Strawberry jam in the Redmond slow cooker is ready.
step 5 out of 5
Pour it into sterile dry jars, seal it hermetically and, after cooling, transfer it to a storage location.
Delicious and successful preparations!
