Jam from wild strawberries for the winter

Wild strawberry jam is a special treat. This berry has a pleasant aroma that cannot be confused with anything else, and it remains during cooking. To ensure the thickening of the jam, we will cook it in gelling sugar (look for the indicated ratio of 1: 1 on the package). Such sugar can be found in almost any hypermarket.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
We thoroughly wash the strawberries from contamination. Remove the sepals.
step 2 out of 8
We place the berries, wet after washing, in a cooking dish.
step 3 out of 8
We close the dishes with a lid and heat the berries until the juice is released and the subsequent boil. Do not forget to stir. We boil for five minutes.
step 4 out of 8
Add gelling sugar. We introduce it gradually in small portions, carefully mixing each portion into the berry mass.
step 5 out of 8
Bring to a boil and cook for two to three minutes. We remove the foam.
step 6 out of 8
We wash and sterilize jars and lids in any way possible.
step 7 out of 8
Put the finished hot jam on sterilized dry jars and tighten with dry sterile lids.
step 8 out of 8
After cooling, remove the strawberry jam for storage in the refrigerator.
Bon Appetit!
