If the harvest of meadow strawberries is available, then there is simply no reason not to make delicious jam from these fragrant berries. Of course, you have to work hard to separate the berries from the dense sepals, but the result is worth it. But making jam does not require a lot of effort.

Rinse the berries of meadow strawberries thoroughly in running water. Then let the water drain.

We clean the berries from sepals.

We place the peeled strawberries in a bowl for cooking jam, cover with granulated sugar. Stir and cover the container with a towel to prevent debris and dust from getting inside. We leave the berries with sugar for five to six hours so that a certain amount of juice stands out.

After the specified time, we put the container with berries on the stove and heat to a boil. Stir the mass periodically. After boiling, cook the jam for ten minutes. Then remove from the stove and let the jam cool completely. Then put the container back on the stove and bring the contents to a boil. Cook for ten minutes. Five minutes before the end of cooking, pour the pectin powder into the jam and mix thoroughly.

Pour hot jam into dry sterile jars and close with sterilized and dried lids. Let the jam cool and put it in storage. After a few days, the jam will noticeably thicken and take on its characteristic consistency.
