Since childhood, it has been known that raspberry jam contains a large amount of vitamins, has medicinal properties and is used not only as a tasty treat, but also as a medicine for the prevention of colds. I suggest making a fragrant and healthy raspberry jam.

Prepare all the ingredients you need to make the jam. Sort the raspberries carefully. If necessary, put the raspberries in a sieve, rinse gently and let the excess liquid drain. Place the prepared berries in a thick-bottomed container. Use a potato grinder or hand blender to grind the berries until smooth.

Then put the container with raspberries on low heat, pour in the required amount of water, bring to a boil, stirring occasionally and removing the resulting foam. Cook the raspberry jam for 5 minutes.

Remove the raspberry mass from the heat and gently rub through a fine sieve so as not to burn yourself.

Put the grated raspberry mass back into the cooking container. Fill in the berry puree with the required amount of granulated sugar, stir gently.

Then put the container with the contents on low heat, bring to a boil, stirring occasionally and removing the resulting foam. Cook the raspberry jam for 25-30 minutes.

Prepare the jars and wash them thoroughly and sterilize them in the microwave or oven. Pour boiling water over the lids. Jars and lids must be completely dry. Check the readiness of the jam, drip it onto a plate and sweep it with a spoon, if the jam holds its shape, then it is ready. Dissolve citric acid literally in a spoonful of water.

Pour into jam, stir, bring to a boil and remove from heat. Using a ladle, carefully pour the hot jam into sterile jars. Tighten jars of raspberry jam with sterile lids, turn upside down, wrap them in a warm blanket. Leave to cool completely, then move them to a dark place for storage.
