Who among us doesn't like experiments, especially those that end well and result in something incredibly great? The harmonious combination of berries in raspberry and black currant jam is just the result of such a successful experiment. Experiment, too!

Sort out the black currant berries, remove the tails and other debris. Rinse the currants under running water, dry on a kitchen towel.

Sort out raspberries, rinse and dry.

Pass the black currant and raspberry berries through a meat grinder, adding a few tablespoons of sugar. Mix everything thoroughly.

Pour the berry mass into a saucepan, pour the remaining sugar into it. Put the saucepan over low heat.

Cook raspberry and black currant jam until sugar is completely dissolved and thickened.

Pre-sterilize jars and lids for jam. Pour ready-made jam into prepared jars, screw the jars with lids.
