Ranetka jam with agar-agar

Any desserts prepared with the addition of agar-agar, with a slight movement of the hand, turn into masterpieces of culinary art. Thanks to this additive, regular apple jam can be turned into natural marmalade without added sugar. This is what we are going to do now!

Rinse the apples under running water and dry them. We remove spoiled places if necessary.

Cut the fruit into 3-4 parts, cut off the skin and remove the core along with the seeds.

We transfer the chopped fruits to a saucepan with a thick bottom, add about 70 milliliters of water and put on low heat, covering with a lid. Simmer until soft for about 15-20 minutes.

Next, grind the ranetki to a puree consistency using a hand blender.

Add agar-agar to the resulting mass, stir thoroughly and boil for another 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly.

Remove from the stove and immediately pour into silicone molds. We put it in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours, and preferably overnight, until it solidifies completely.
