Jam from Victoria with gelatin

What can be tastier than strawberry jam made from aromatic Victoria? I want to share my favorite strawberry jam recipe using gelatin to achieve incredible texture in the treat.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 13
Prepare the required ingredients for the strawberry jam. Sort the strawberries carefully.
step 2 out of 13
Put the strawberries in a sieve, rinse thoroughly and let the excess liquid drain.
step 3 out of 13
Put the prepared berries in a metal bowl with a thick bottom. Fill the berries with the required amount of granulated sugar.
step 4 out of 13
Shake the container with berries, cover and leave for 3-5 hours for the berry juice to stand out and the strawberries are soaked in syrup.
step 5 out of 13
During this time, a sufficient amount of juice will be released, and the granulated sugar will practically melt.
step 6 out of 13
Then put the container with strawberries on low heat, bring to a boil, stirring occasionally and skimming off the resulting foam. Cook the jam for 5 minutes. Then remove from heat and cool completely.
step 7 out of 13
Pour the instant gelatin with the required amount of drinking water, mix well. Leave to swell.
step 8 out of 13
Put the container with berries on low heat, bring to a boil. Then remove from heat.
step 9 out of 13
Grind the berries with an immersion blender until smooth. Put on fire again, add citric acid, bring to a boil. And remove from the fire.
step 10 out of 13
Pour the swollen gelatin into the berry mass.
step 11 out of 13
Mix thoroughly until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Wash and sterilize jars in the microwave or oven. Pour boiling water over the lids or boil. Jars and lids must be completely dry.
step 12 out of 13
Using a large spoon, carefully spread the hot jam into sterile jars. Tighten jars of strawberry jam with sterile lids, then turn upside down and wrap them in a warm blanket. Leave in this state until it cools completely.
step 13 out of 13
When completely cool, turn the jars over and move them to a cool, dark place for long-term storage. Serve the rest of the fragrant jam on the table.

Enjoy!
