In a multicooker, excellent minced "hedgehogs" are obtained. In this device, meat balls are actively steamed from all sides: the minced meat is juicy, and the rice is especially loose. For the best result, we recommend using long-grain rice, since its grains imitate hedgehog needles well. The dish is great for dietary and baby food, as it is steamed and does not contain excess fat, as well as the not always healthy golden brown crust.
Ingredients
Cooking process
Peel the onions, wash, dry and finely chop with a knife. We also clean the chives, wash them and pass them through a press. Put the minced meat in a bowl, add chopped onion and garlic gruel to it. For more juiciness of the minced meat, pour in the specified amount of water, as well as sesame oil. Then sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste and mix thoroughly with your hands. We put the rice soaked in water on a sieve and let the excess moisture drain. Mix the grits with the minced meat until smooth.
From minced meat we form meatballs of medium size, carefully rolling them between the palms - so the finished "hedgehogs" will be denser, and rice grains will appear on the surface in greater quantities. We put the balls on the wire rack and close the lid of the multicooker. We select the "Steam cooking" mode or similar, in which active boiling will be maintained for forty minutes.
Bon Appetit!
