Minced hedgehogs with rice in a Redmond slow cooker

If you need to cook a hearty dinner, but there is not much time, and you don't want to bother in the kitchen, there is a reason to remember about the multicooker. And we will make "hedgehogs" from minced meat with rice. The meatballs in the Redmond slow cooker are perfectly stewed, warming up evenly from all sides - the finished dish turns out to be tender and juicy. You can use any meat for "hedgehogs" according to personal preferences. The only thing that should be observed is the small size of the minced meat particles. A chopped structure will not work here.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We wash the rice, place it in a saucepan and fill it with water. Add a little salt and boil it until half cooked for ten minutes. After that, we throw the cereal into a colander and pour over it with cold water. Place the minced meat in a bowl, add a chicken egg, salt, black pepper to taste, washed and slightly dried rice to it. Peel, wash, dry and finely chop the onions with a knife. Pour it into the minced meat and mix all the ingredients together with your hands until they are relatively homogeneous.
step 2 out of 5
From the cooked meat mass, we form meatballs with a diameter of approximately five centimeters. To prevent the minced meat from sticking during work, we wet our hands in cold water. We put the prepared balls in the multicooker bowl.
step 3 out of 5
Cooking the sauce. To do this, in a separate bowl, mix the tomato paste with sour cream and flour. Add a little salt and pour in water in the specified amount. Stir with a whisk until completely homogeneous. Pour the prepared sauce into the multicooker bowl, covering the meatballs. Close the lid of the multicooker and set the "Extinguishing" mode for one hour.
step 4 out of 5
When the ready signal sounds, turn off the multicooker, and let the "hedgehogs" brew under the lid for ten to fifteen minutes.
step 5 out of 5
We serve ready-made "hedgehogs" with any side dish, generously pouring over the sauce in which they were stewed.

Bon Appetit!
