Whole trout in foil on the grill

If you plan to bake trout on the grill, you don't have to be smart for a long time: season the fish with salt, ground white pepper, put it in foil with lemon and onions and send it to the wire rack. Such a simple method fully reveals the natural taste of trout and emphasizes it from the best side.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Wash the fish thoroughly, cleanse the scales, remove the insides. Leave the head, tail and fins. Thoroughly rinse the cleaned carcass and dry it with a paper towel.
step 2 out of 7
Sprinkle the fish with salt and white pepper. Pour lightly with olive oil and rub the spices all over the carcass with your palms.
step 3 out of 7
Peel the onions, rinse, dry and cut into thin rings. We put part of the onion into the cavity of the carcasses.
step 4 out of 7
On the one hand, we make shallow cuts in the fish. We wash the lemon, dry it and cut it into thin semicircles. Insert the lemon into the cuts. Cut off pieces of foil for each fish. Put onions on the glossy side of the foil, place the fish on it.
step 5 out of 7
Put the rest of the onion on top of the trout. We also put a sprig of parsley inside the fish.
step 6 out of 7
We wrap the prepared fish in foil. Each fish is wrapped separately. We prepare the grill, put the fish on the grill and send it to the grill. Cooking fish for ten minutes on each side approximately.
step 7 out of 7
We free the finished trout from the foil and serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs and vegetables.
Bon Appetit!
